Approach Discs or Midranges
Midranges, or midrange discs, are usually used for medium-range throws when you want to approach the basket.
They have a slightly thinner profile than putters and a wider rim, which allows them to travel a longer distance.
In the hands of a skilled thrower, the longest throws are made with drivers and the approach continues with midranges.
Midranges are a bit easier to handle than drivers due to their overall thickness and rim thickness.
Midranges are usually used for 50-100 meter throws depending on the player.
